Who can purchase from Galton Wholesale?

We sell exclusively to retail businesses. A valid resale certificate or business documentation is required to open an account.

Do you allow online sellers?

Yes. Brick-and-mortar stores, online retailers, and multi-store operations are welcome.

Is there a minimum order?

• $1,000 minimum opening order

• We strongly recommend approximately $3,600 or more to optimize freight costs

Do you have a catalog?

Our website functions as a live inventory catalog with real-time stock availability.

How do I apply?

Create an account on our website and submit your business documentation. Most accounts are reviewed and approved within one business day.

Inventory & Ordering

Is inventory live?

Yes. Website quantities reflect actual warehouse stock in real time.

How fast do orders ship?

• Most orders ship within the same week

• Truckload orders are scheduled within a few business days

Can items sell out?

Yes. Many products are handmade in limited batches and may not be immediately restocked however we do have good process in place to reorder ahead of time to ensure a smaller window of stock outs. 

Can I add to my order after placing it?

Often yes, if the order has not shipped yet. Contact us as soon as possible and we will adjust the shipment when available.

Do you offer seasonal preorders?

Yes. Seasonal items and container programs are available for advance ordering throughout the year.

Shipping & Freight Information

How orders ship

Orders ship via freight carriers, not parcel services.

• LTL (pallet shipments)

• Full truckload shipments

Due to product size and weight, we generally do not ship UPS or FedEx.

Do I need a warehouse to receive freight?

No. Many retailers receive freight without a warehouse.

You can receive shipments if you have:

• a forklift

• a loading dock

• or liftgate delivery service

What is a liftgate?

A liftgate is a hydraulic platform attached to the back of the truck that lowers the pallet safely to ground level at your store.

Transit time

Typical delivery times:

• Texas and nearby states: 1–3 days

• Midwest: 2–5 days

• East and West Coast: 4–7 days

Transit times vary slightly depending on carrier routes and scheduling.

How to reduce freight cost

Most customers optimize freight by ordering approximately $3,600 or more per pallet.
Larger orders significantly reduce the freight cost per item.

How are freight quotes calculated?

Freight is quoted after order placement so we can obtain the lowest available carrier rate for your location.

What if items arrive damaged?

We carefully wrap with bubble wrap and palletize merchandise before shipping.

If damage occurs:

1. Note the damage on the delivery receipt before signing

2. Take photos of the packaging and items

3. Notify us within reasonable time

We will assist with the claim and provide replacement or credit when appropriate.

Are products identical?

No. Our items are handmade by artisans.

This is a normal and expected characteristic of handmade goods.

Metal yard art and rust

Metal items are designed for outdoor use and will naturally develop a patina over time. Surface rust is expected and is not considered a defect.

How items are packaged

Items are individually wrapped, padded, and palletized to minimize movement and protect merchandise during transit.

Visiting the Warehouse

Customers are welcome to visit our Laredo warehouse by appointment preferred.

You may:

• View inventory in person

• Build orders on site

• Schedule pickups
